Lisa Responds to House Building Plans

Wigan MP Lisa Nandy has responded to a consultation on plans to build thousands of new homes and employment space across Wigan. The Greater Manchester Spatial Framework is a joint plan by the 10 local authorities across Greater Manchester for new homes and jobs up to 2035.

Wigan MP Lisa has been vocal in opposing any development on Green Belt land and critical of the lack of information available to residents. You can read the full text of Lisa’s response here: https://www.scribd.com/document/335663164/Lisa-Nandy-MP-Consultation-Response-GMSF-20-12-16

The deadline for objections has been extended to the 16th January following complaints that people were not given enough time to lodge their objections. Anyone wanting to respond to the plans can visit this website: http://gmsf-consult.objective.co.uk/common/register.jsp?type=consultee

Alternatively, residents can email objections to: gmsf@agma.gov.uk
